After completing his first degree in Computing Science and Psychology Joint Honours from the University of Aberdeen in July 2001, Nial went on to complete an MSc in E-commerce Technology at the same university.

Nial has excellent business sense and communication skills, backed with sound computing knowledge. In the past, Nial has worked on a knowledge-acquisition project for the Advanced Knowledge & Technologies group at the University of Aberdeen.

Out of hours Nial's time is taken up playing with his young son Noah, the occasional game of golf and trips to Pittodrie to see his beloved Aberdeen.
