Hosting Charges Fixed to 2010
Blue Square has decided not to increase their annual hosting, domain and email charges in 2009 in order to help their clients maintain their cost base. Cost structures will be reviewed in April 2010. |

SPAM Increase!
Blue Square has noticed a marked increase in the number of SPAM emails received by its own staff and clients over the last 3 weeks. Although the McColo hosting servers which provided a significant amount of malware and botnet traffic were closed down 5 months ago, the botnets are back up and running again and may be causing many a bulging mailbox!
Tighten up your spam filters, don't open attachments from untrusted sources and hang on for dear life..... |

Internet Explorer 8 Released
Internet Explorer 8 was released on March 19th 2009. Microsoft claim that their new browser is faster, safer, has better support for W3C standards and is packed with new features. With the release of IE8 we urge any clients still using IE6 to upgrade to at least IE7. This is primarily for security reasons but note that many companies (including Blue Square) will scale down web development for IE6 now that IE8 has been released.

The website is managed by Blue Square on an ongoing basis but has content managed elements and a database driven enquiry system.
