Save the World, Print a Brochure!

Not exactly a politically correct headline but it does ring true!

With ever increasing recycling rates and commercial replanting and reforestation policies, the use of paper as a marketing material is gradually regaining its popularity.

There are of course many digital alternatives to print (all of which Blue Square can offer), but we also feel that there is little that can compare to a well conceived and produced brochure or mailpiece.  Read some of the remarkable facts on our website that may influence and convince you to produce a brochure.  For further information contact Brian Cairns or Nial Chapman on 01382 223111.

Hitting the Sweetspot

Blue Square have recently embarked on a promotional campaign of our own. It is an edible mailpiece consisting of a small boxes of chocolates with a clever twist and is being sent out to prospective clients. The results have been staggering with all the named recipients receiving the chocolates and message from Blue Square.  Compared to junk mail and SPAM this success level is very high. In this digital world, analogue still has its place.

If you are interested in reaching your target audience contact Nial Chapman or Brian Cairns on 01382 223111.

Blue Square Day Out

Blue Square's recent Golf Day at Panmure Golf Club was hailed a great success by all who attended.  Eighteen of our clients took up the challenge on a beautiful but windy day.

The event was won by the pairing of Ronnie Urquhart (County Properties - in the diamond jumper) and Ian Gillies (Graham & Sibbald - in the light blue jumper), who blasted their way to a 2 shot victory. Read the full report here (with images).

We would like to thank all that attended, congratulate the winners and look forward to future events.

Interesting Technology

Business just wouldn’t be the same without Powerpoint but now Microsoft has a new rival for its ubiquitous presentation software – Prezi (www.prezi.com). This newcomer throws out the idea of slides and replaces it with a blank canvas which you can zoom into as far as you want. It’s a webapp so everything happens inside your web browser and you can add text, photos, video and audio clips. When the presentation is complete it can be downloaded as a single file so it can be shown without an internet connection. It’s the future of presentations.
