The IOC is an international non-governmental, non-profit organisation and the creator of the Olympic Movement. The IOC exists to serve as an umbrella organisation of the Olympic Movement. Sportsoracle is a group of world experts on sports nutrition with strong ties to the IOC.

Brief

Blue Square were approached by Sports Oracle and the IOC to produce a series of 20 interactive CD-ROMs featuring up to 5 live lectures each incorporating audio visual footage of Sports Nutrition experts presenting lecture material with accompanying slides timed to the delivery of the lecture. The CD-ROMs are sent, with accompanying material packs, to students from all over the world who are participating in this distance learning diploma.

Solution

Blue Square have to date produced 6 of the 20 interactive CD-ROMs containing audiovisual presentations with accompanying pre-timed powerpoint presentations, speaker biographies and journals. The CDs have been well received by students and tutors alike and has been described as the nearest thing to actually being present at a lecture.
