The IOC is an international non-governmental, non-profit organisation and the creator of the Olympic Movement. The IOC exists to serve as an umbrella organisation of the Olympic Movement. Sportsoracle is a group of world experts on sport's nutrition with strong ties to the IOC.

Blue Square were approached by Sports Oracle and the IOC to produce a series of 20 interactive CD-ROMs featuring up to 5 live lectures each incorporating audio visual footage presented by Sports Nutrition experts and consisting of lecture narrative and supporting slides. The CD-ROMs and literature packs are mailed throughout the globe to participating distance learning students.

Blue Square has produced 20 interactive CD-ROMs containing audiovisual presentations with accompanying pre-timed powerpoint presentations, speaker biographies and journals. The materials are also distributed online. The materials have been well received by students and tutors alike and has been described as the nearest thing to actually being present at a lecture.
